Holiday Decor Ideas For Small Spaces

Holiday-Decor-Ideas

I am a sucker for holiday decorations. There is something so fun about hanging up sparkly tinsel, decorating a mini tree and finding adorable gold accent pieces to bring out the holiday spirit.  The only problem?  When you live in an apartment and have limited space.  Obviously decorations are still a must, but you just have to be a bit more strategic about your decorating to maximize space.  Here are a few of my favorite ideas for adorable decorations that are perfect for small spaces.

A full size tree may be unrealistic when space is limited, but I love this idea of using spruce branches in big vases.  The colorful ornaments are adorable, and it still provides the look of a tree {without taking up half the room}.

Ornaments can be a perfect way to spice up normal items, and I love this idea of hanging a bundle of ornaments from a light fixture.  It takes something standard and makes it festive and unique!

Instead of hanging holiday cards up on the fridge, stacking them on the counter or cluttering up your one butt kitchen, why not put them all in one place?!  Switching up your inspiration board {see my DIY board here} and using it to display your holiday cards is convenient, festive and visually appealing!

This is one of my favorites!  For those whose apartment complexes don’t allow real trees and don’t want to splurge for a fake one {those bad boys are expensive!!!}, this is an adorable idea.  Using christmas lights and tape, command hooks, etc. you can make a light up tree on any open wall.  It’s seriously so cute.

How have you decorated in your small space?  Which of these ideas is your fave?  Let me know!
